The Winter Solstice energy is still felt, and the Christmas energy is rapidly disappearing, being replaced with the energy build up for welcoming the New Year.

High winds and lots of rain here. Very refreshing, dynamic and exciting.

Power outages, more rain, and vigorous wind caused confusion in our broadband connection yesterday. Everything is ok today, for which we are grateful.

5 days after Solstice

Rain today...delightful, trees-full-of-birds rain. We were invaded by a flock of wild turkeys this morning! Big ones...able to fly easily with large wing spans. I had seen about a dozen of them on the ground two days ago in the neighbors yard, as they followed me from one end of the fence to the other, and I thought they were domestic and that the neighbors were raising them, but not true...they are wild, and this morning were making lots of noise and flying all over about 1/2 square mile of area, finally moving south out of earshot...fascinating, surprising and thrilling *:-)

This year in India it is said the on January 14th the Sun will again begin to exert its force on us and start the long trek into Spring...I am glad *:-)
