University of Blueberry Syrup: New Software

University of Blueberry Syrup:
Our local university has changed its employment process, software, website, application requirements, job listings and help resources. A comment posted under the "Recruitment Type" column heading states "Note: Campus Only is restricted to current University of Blueberry Syrup employees only". Maybe that would work, but under the actual job posting recruitment category for the very same position, the "Recruitment Type" is listed as "Open". I called the HR department and guess what...they don't understand it either, and the admin in the office overheard the biggies trying to figure out what it means in a hallway conversation this morning *:-) The admin (quietly, so as not to be heard while on the phone in her office) advised me to apply anyway, because in the past the HR people rarely paid attention to the intial screening process for the difference between current employees and non-current employees who applied for positions. I was advised to "go for it", so I will.

Three Weddings And No Funeral

Three Weddings:
One: Our first son and his chosen one, some time ago now.
Two: Our only daughter and her chosen one, some time ago now.
Three: Our second son and his chosen one.
All done.
The last one on Saturday, September 3rd.
As the white Porsche Boxster convertible sped off toward Napa for the honeymoon, we drove home over the mountain, suspended for a moment in between roles.
We will learn our new parts as they are given to us and do our best to play as Shakespeare would have us do.

No Funeral:
Our cat is still alive, although this evening my wife was exceptionally angry at her because she jumped up on the Powerbook keyboard while my wife was using it and first time she did it she just startled my wife and screwed up the number of copies of emails that come in. Then ... then, she snuck up on my wife, jumped up on the keyboard again, and her claws ripped off two of the keytops, and further screwed up the emails! The cat is now locked in the downstairs bathroom and won't be allowed up at the computer area any more *:-(
