It is not the cat's fault, but...
Our daughter in law was wounded today when the largest, quite a hunk, of their 2 cats leapt upon her from behind and injured her on the head with its claws because of stress, while she was sitting at her computer.
We are greatful that our granddaughter was not involved, and we are sorry that our daughter in law had to experience the fear and the pain.
Too many things happened during the day that caused the cat to feel hemmed in, too tightly controlled, and generally angry.
Again, we are greatful that he did not take it out on our one year old granddaughter.
Scary stuff, and our son and daughter in law are sorting it out this evening, which I believe will be difficult but they are straightforward and intelligent, so we trust what they will decide.
